The immediate desire at Matris Apothecary is to craft quality cosmetic products with simple, nutrient-dense ingredients that are good for my family and yours, as well as affordable.

The deeper desire behind the cottage shop is to build a sense of home economy that my children can be involved in, which promotes the goodness of work, a sense of responsibility, and a greater relationship with the natural world.
